Dietrich Bonhoeffer once said, "It is in fact the most normal thing in the common Christian life to pray together. The community either lives by its prayers or is destroyed." At CRC, Prayer Groups are the heartbeat of our church life. We believe the Scriptures plainly teach that Christ's death and resurrection bring forth a new community of saints who live life together.
Jesus says in John 15:13, "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends." Prayer Groups are our way of living in obedience to Jesus' words by laying down our lives for the sake of friendship.
We believe there’s no better way to know someone than by hearing them pray and spending time praying for them. We would be honored to have you join our community.
